WinRar Problem Solver - Long Time to Open RAR files

Why does WinRAR take so long to open an archive?
This can occur for different reasons:

1. You have enabled the "Keep archives history" option in the WinRAR "Settings/General" section and your network disks are not physically accessible. Please disable the "Keep archives history" option in the WinRAR "Settings/General" section and see if that helps.

2. You have installed an antivirus software to check files in the background.
Please exit your antivirus software and test again.

3. If the delay is caused by the antivirus software, try to disable the "check archives options" of the antivirus software and inform the antivirus developer about the problem.

If this doesn't help, please exit all background programs and test again.
