Post subject: windows update Add to elertz Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsme>general (more info?)
Hi,
I recently reinstalled ME. I went to updates and it started out fine. After
the IE6 update now it searches for updates, I select to install updates and
it acts like it si going to update. It freezes and doesn't down load.

Do you have SP1? If not, that could be the problem.There's a bunch of
download sites and it's available with IE6 on disc.
