I was using a dial up connection which worked well. NOw I am trying to hook
up to a 5mgb broadband router through the LAN terminal on my computer. I
have enabled ISC and tried typing in ISP addresses when the connection wizard
could not find the server source. What do I do? It seems like I have tried
everything.

ICS may not be relevant or needed in your particular setup unless you are
sharing one connection through another computer.
What you need to do is setup your cable modem and router and/or
modem/router combo.

Here is a help page [which likely contains more than you need] on setup of
networks, routers, and other.
