attempting to launch an dos pgm & get "divide overflow
error" before the program even starts. I looked at the
knowledge base and couldn't find anything to help. Any
help would be appreciated

Did the DOS program work before on the same computer?
If this is the first time you're trying it, how fast is the computer's CPU?
Some older DOS programs that were written/compiled in Turbo Pascal
have problems with systems running faster than 200mHz or so, because
of the way their timing loops are executed. Some systems may report a
"Runtime Error 200" (aka division by zero) instead of "divide overflow".
