Post subject: tool bar clock Archived from groups: microsoft>public>win98>display>general (more info?)
I have win98. I have to reset the clock every time I boot my computer.The
clock keeps the right time all day,but when I restart the next day it
displays the time of the last shutdown.It does this every time.Please help.

You need to replace the CMOS backup battery - typically a small coin battery
on the motherboard. See, for instance:
