Post subject: How do I stop backspace from taking me to the previous webpage in Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>inetexplorer>ie6>setup (more info?)
It happens even when I am in a text field. I heard it's a common problem and
Microsoft has a fix out now but when I contacted Customer Support they sent
me here. (thanks, guys.) I am using WinXP Pro with IE 7. I'd like to disable
the entire backspace/previous page function if possible but I'd settle for
just when my cursor is in a text field too. I do data entry and it is driving
me to violence against my hardware. Please help.
