Can't select multiple attachments with the CTRL key in the "insert
attachment". I'm always sending emails with numerous attachments and it gets
pretty frustrating. Any ideas?

What about the /other/ Ctrl key? Or the Shift key?

That works fine with my Outlook Express 6 on Windows XP.
But I notice that you posted with Vista Windows Mail. Is that the
program that you are having problems with? If so

What happens when click on a file while holding down the Ctrl key? Does
the previously select file become unselected or does the new file not
get selected?
Do you have any problems selecting multiple files in the Windows
Explorer?
If that works, you can select multiple files that way and then
drag-and-drop them into the open message composition window.
If you have the same problem in Windows Explorer, then it's a more
general problem, perhaps with the keyboard or mouse.

I can select multiple files in explorer and then drag them, however I'm sure
that there should be a way to just fix this issue.

You can try creating a new identity in OE and see if the problem occurs
there.

I think we've seen this before as a symptom of third-party interference.
You would have to do some fault isolation troubleshooting to figure out
what is causing it in that case.
