exactly duplicated and write them down (what and how many of each.) Close up
and restart.

I went to my computer and then system, then device mgr., then disk drives and
there is 2 things there: GENERIC IDE TYPE 47 AND GENERIC NEC FLOPPY DISK
I also cant find the disk you aked me about. I don't know which of these to
delete or what else to do?

Sorry but I just realized on the system devices that there is a PCI bus so I
see that now but I need a little more walk thru on this process.

Are you sure it's really safe mode? If the machine starts in safe mode then
it says "Safe Mode" in each corner of the display.
It's more likely that your screen display has reverted to a smaller area
setting.
Right-click on a blank area of the desktop and chose Properties then
Settings. What is the Screen area slider set at? Can you change it to a
higher setting?

I restarted it after I changed the slider to the middle range and it went
back to normal. Thanks for your help.
