I need help to put back the rundll32 which I got no clue how or why it is
missing. Whatever happened, ...happened. The issue is in the add/remove
programs in windows setup. HELP!

Why do you think it needs replacing?
Please quote the exact error message you are getting in Add/Remove
with Setupx and Rundll32
In the mean time, try a few of these:
