New setup due to failing laptop
XP home updated regularly
HP pavillion 1 GHz processor
AVG free
Can send email
cannot receive
Charter.net does not support OE, they want use of email from their homepage
(which works OK) I spent a hour going over settings on phone to no avail.
I have double checked settings without success., time out error as posted by
clickrs on 5/11/08 for comcast.
windows live email client will not install, says Microsoft server error

Please post the error message /you/ get. I don't keep posts more than ten
days and I'm not going to Google for this post. You can left click on it to

What happens when you try to receive mail? Post any error messages in their
entirety.
