Sorry for the crosspost, but I am really not sure where this would be
on-topic nowadays Wink

There used to be a Q269616 post-SP6 hotfix for NT4 "How to Disable the
DHCP Lease Message Completely", which seems to have been retired from
Microsoft's current KB. From the 10/01 MSDN:

|| The English version of this fix should have the following file
|| attributes or later:
||
|| Date Time Size File name Platform
|| --------------------------------------------------
|| 07/24/2000 03:29p 38,672 Dhcpcsvc.dll Intel
|| 07/24/2000 03:28p 64,784 Dhcpcsvc.dll Alpha
||
|| This fix introduces a new registry entry that you can use to prevent
|| the DHCP message from being displayed even once.

If anyone still has that Intel Dhcpcsvc.dll by any chance, please email
me a copy to "lab2k1 at gmail dot com". A reference to some public place
to download it would work just as well, as would any pointer to a
subscription MSDN CD/DVD where it might have been included at the time.
Thanks in advance.

....or http://support.microsoft.com/hotfix/KBHotfix.aspx?kbnum=269616
which still works, despite the article having been removed from the
publicly searchable KB. Case closed, many thanks.
