I just upgraded my print server to win2k3. Now, documents with the draft
watermark are only printing a couple of the letters of the watermark. If I
turn the watermark on in the print properties instead of in word, it prints
fine. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi,

just wondering if you have come across a fix for this problem Nathan. We are
having exactly the same problem as you are, watermarks are only printing a
couple of the letters per page. Always different letters as well.

It only happens printing to HP printers, printing to Lexmark printers does
not do this.

Done a lot of googling but havne't come up with anything useful.

Thanks.

Never found a fix, but did find two work arounds. you can either use the
watermark function on the printer driver, or in word when you set up the
water mark, check the box for semi-transparent.
