Until recently, I could have multiple IE windows open. Also, when opening
mail either at msn or yahoo, the mail will not open in a new window, nor do I
have an active BACK option. In order to return to my mailbox, I must go to
msn.com again and then to webmail.
I've not added any new software - updates only from Microsoft. HELP

IE will not open in new window
Cannot open multiple browser windows
Can't open more than 1 IE window
IE windows closes when you click on a link
Have you tried this?
Tools-Internet Options-Advanced.
Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts"
If that is not the problem, then perhaps it is a toolbar you have
added?
Try removing extra toolbars, in particular, the Yahoo toolbar.

Thanks for the suggestion, Alan. It didn't work... and I refuse to use
install other toolbars as I've found them either memory hogs, useless, or
invasive.

Both of those suggestions didn't work for me.
- I already tried "reuse window for launching shortcuts". This seems
inhibit my ability to go to a different website from a website (i.e. already
in a browser, click something in My Favorites, and nothing happens).
- I don't have any other tool bars active.
This seemed to be just recent that I couldn't open more than one browser at
a time. It is VERY disapointing. I tried EI 7, and that was a HUGE MISTAKE
so I unloaded that and went back to 6. Even after than I could access more
than one browser at a time.
Any other suggestions for opening more than one browser would be
appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry, no further suggestions.
Please try the browser group.
