Post subject: Can't open file attachments with selected program in Outlook Expre Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>inetexplorer>ie6_outlookexpress (more info?)
Hi Everybody,
When I try to open file attachments , in Outlook Express 6, I get a error
message saying that there is no program associated with that file. But the
truth is I do have a selected program for the file types. They will open in
Windows Explorer with the program I selected and saved. But it seems like
Outlook Express can't access that information. Any ideas about this issue ?

Save an attachment to your HDD. Right click on it and Open With | Choose
Program. Find and choose a program that works and then check the box: Always
use this program to open this kind of file. This should enable you to open
these attachments in the future.
