I accidentally deleted my MSO files and my cd rom drive drawer is broken, HOw
can i download the application? is there a free download? help!

that's bad that your computers cdrom-drive ("drawer"??) is broken,
if you have friends or family that likes to buy xmas presents
the last minute, then now is a perfect time to wish for
a new one... well you should perhaps wish for a dvd-burner
when you are at it, perfect when doing backup.

I assume you mean "microsoft office 97"?

when it comes to downloading office97 micosoft wouldn't like that...
you didn't hoped microsoft had it on a download website, right? Wink

and if they had a download-software-webshop, then they would
certainly want you to pay one more time for it Very Happy

and you wouldn't
find any such old programs as office97 since they would prefer
you to buy a new hasta-la-vista -only office suit instead Very Happy

Of course there is allways the possibility that you can find
it with a filesharing program like DC++ or bit torrent.

But before you waste lots of time on searching for a hub
or torrent website that have it, hopefully with not too slow
sharers... better would be if you stopped using office97.
There are other good free office suits now, and allso standalone
word processors, like abiword, if you only need Word.
