How can i decide a nt server is working as DC / BDC if it is the
first time i touch it? Is there a command "mdbstat", but i can't find it?

Open a dos prompt and run net accounts then look at the
value of the computer role field. It will say primary (PDC),
Backup (BDC) or server (member server). Also if you look
at the drop down box for domains on the logon screen and
you do not see the computer name chances are it's a DC
because DCs do not have local SAMs for local access they
use the domain SAM therefore you don't get the choice for
computername just the domain name and all other trusting
domains.
