Is there a newsgroup for XP IE7?

I can't seem to update my list of newsgroups. I have not used them for about
a year an would have thought there would be a few new ones by now. When I
click NEW I get the message "There are no items which match your current
filter criteria".

Am I doing something wrong?

A1. Those with IE7-specific questions or comments are asked to post to and
seek support in this newsgroup: microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

On the web:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=...rosoft.

In your newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

A2. OE Tools | Options | General | Notify me if there are any new newsgroups
(must be enabled/checked)

Now RESET your newsgroup list, if necessary.

Yes. Don't use the New tab. Then the one you want could be found
(in OE on a news account served by msnews) by pressing Ctrl-w, c.i er.g
