Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsnt>registry (more info?)

On multiple-adapter Win NT 4.0 machines, is there a key that denotes which
of the listed adapters is the one currently being used?

There are several numbers under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkCards\ that are not NIC cards.

I have no way of knowing which one to use (programmatically).

Thanks,
