Is it possible to make Win98SE interpret
system clock as UTC (not local)? If so, how?
The registry change (below) did not work.

Right click on the time display and select
Adjust Time/Date
You can set time to any time zone you like,
discontinue summer time adjustments etc.

As far as I can tell, this setting originates with NT (and didn't work
properly there) and therefore never applied in Windows 9x. It seems it's
not possible to do what you want. You could experiment with setting it to
UTC and working out what fudge was needed in tmezone settings to get the
correct display, but that creates problems of its own.
