Post subject: lexmark printer Archived from groups: microsoft>public>win98>printing (more info?)
We have just started using a Lexmark 74 all in one printer/scanner/fax on
our other xp computer.
The printer/scanner, scans and then prints out pictures etc, in b&w and
colour perfectly.
But when printing from the pc, it does b&w ok, but colour pictures (jpegs
from a digi camera) are really bad with horizontal bands of pink and blue,
and the images are ghost like.
I used ms paint to draw and fill boxes of red, blue, yellow, green, and
black, then printed them out, the yellow was completely missing, none of the
colours were correct.
Why does the printer/scanner print ok when doing scanned images but not from
the PC.
