Not sure if anyone can help but would appreciate some links for help with
pure dos.
Remote locations have pcanywhere 5.0, a dos app that needs 570k of
conventional memory and a disk caching utility to run half ass properly. We
are using norton speed drive 4.0.
On the pc's with dos 6.20 we can run the program via pcanywhere fine
On the pc's with dos 6.22 we run out of memory when running program via
pcanywhere.
I've tried loading norton speed drive in either
autoexec.bat
LH C:\SPD\SPEEDRV.EXE /INSTALL or
config.sys
DEVICEHIGH=C:\SPD\SPEEDRV.EXE /INSTALL
Also tried loading pcanywhere via the LH AW.exe from the c:\aw prompt.
the only thing different between the can and cannots is dos 6.20 vs 6.22
thanks in advance

Memmaker was not supported with the dos program.
I did see one guy say put dos=high,umb on line 2 in config.sys right after
device=c:\dos\himem.sys
will have to try that. Otherwise I'll have to downgrade to 6.20 because all
the other stores work fine.
thanks
