Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsnt>registry (more info?)

problem:
When the administrator try to log in locally, Windows NT immediately logs
him out and the original login screen (CTRL+ALT+DEL) is back.

question:
How can i log in to that Win NT?

I think you should log in as administrator in the safe mode to check if the
problem happend. If it not happend, the try the following method:

run compmgmt.msc, use System Tools\Local User and Groups\Users,and double
click the administrator,click "Profile".
See if there is a script when the user log in.
Also, you should find if there is some strange in the
registry)HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
