Post subject: flash drive

i want to be able to use my flash drive when i am running windows 98
but not as a shared drive or anything
i need to format it from 98
is there anyway to do this

I'm not sure what you mean by 'anything' but you can place a virtual drive
on a flash drive, like any other mass storage device.

You cannot access the flash drive directly from within the VM.

You should be able to use the drive if you have device drivers for windows 98
supplied with the drive or either you can download it from the manufacture.
If the above solutio doesn't work you may try a generic driver seems to
working with 98 from http://www.technical-assistance.co.uk/kb/usbmsd98.php
