Post subject: Cant delete address Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>inetexplorer>ie6_outlookexpress (more info?)
A friend of mine who is running XP and OE6 says he can't delete a specific
email address from his address book. Every time he selects it and clicks on
delete it goes but when he goes back another day it is back again. It is an
email address he put in originally.

Have him check Tools, Options, Send. Does he have the option to
automatically add people that replies to? If so, have him turn off that
option and see if the address returns.

One or more options/settings in an ever-growing number of third-party
applications may be disallowing the change(s) from "sticking". These include
but are not limited to Ad-aware's Ad-Watch, Spybot Tea Timer,
SpywareBlaster, SpySweeper, Spyware Doctor, Norton AntiVirus, McAfee
VirusScan and/or Antispyware, and Zone Alarm (Free and Pro).
