Only those who don't know any better. It's considered shouting and not
appreciated.

Hi Arfur,
How goes? Shame about Fairford being cancelled. Did you by an chance get
to Waddington on the 8th and get to see XH558 flying?
Oh, and the answer to your question is yes since you yourself have just
asked a question in all caps.

I don't know why you're saying I'm defragged! Anyway my name certainly isn't
Shane! They even made a moving picture about me, you may have seen the
famous scene: "I am Arturo Seis!" "No, *I* am Arturo Seis!""No! *I* am
Arturo Seis!""No!...etc etc etc!"
!
No, really my name is Walter Cronkite. Not *the* Walter Cronkite. Arturo
'Walter Cronkite' Seis. I am an anchorman on Canal+ España.

Indeed! Not only that, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight was to fly over
a few weeks earlier and got diverted because of balloons! Of course, the 35
mile fly past should have gone over head but was nowhere to be heard. On the
Monday there was the occasional jet-going-home sound - including about a
dozen, presumably an aerobatic team going home after spending the weekend on
their nether regions. Didn't even see the usual B-1 and B-52! Finally a
Tornado went by directly over the house and below the low cloud cover,
almost like a consolation 'buzz'!
> chance get to Waddington on the 8th and get to see XH558 flying?
No. Which 8th was that??? I looked at the RIAT site before Kemble to see if
it was booked, and it wasn't even in the list of possibles, so I went to the
XH558 site to see that it had only just completed trial flights enabling the
application for a licence to be submitted - so it seemed out of the question
of seeing it at this years shows.
I'm going to have to go back to the site and see what you mean!
