Post subject: IE 6
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>inetexplorer>ie6>setup (more info?)

Before I open IE I need to go to "services.msc" and re-start "DNS client" and
"DHCP client" then my internet will open. WHy?????

It could be you have not set your IE correctly. Could you check in:

Tools, Options, Connections
make sure it is set to either "Never Dial a connection (if you are using
Broadband or College LAN) OR "Always dial my default connection" (for dial up
connections)
