Turn your machine on......after bootup, you should be at the Windows
desktop. In the lower left corner of your screen (you may have to drag the
mouse pointer to the bottom is the taskbar is hidden), you should see a
"Start" button. Left click once on this button and in the popup menu, you
will see "Help and Support".....click on that. Do a search for "Tutorial"
and you will get a small lesson on the basics to get you started.

If you can get to the Internet........do a Google search for something like
"using Windows Me" or anything similar. There are many web based learning
centers. If all else fails, stop by your nearest bookstore and purchase a
book on Me. All of the above will require some effort on your part.
Heirloom, old and should have
started with XP

Obviously you've come this far!
Now it's up to you to do the surfing, but not before you "bullet proof" your
machine, which includes a Firewall, AntiVirus, Spyware and other Malware
protection. Most of them, if not all, can be obtained as freeware. Above
all, get used to practicing "Safe Hex" (you'll get the meaning).
Given enough time, someone will come to your rescue with the details. Don't
forget, this is Christmas and most people are involved in "family affairs"
just about now.
Enjoy your's in the meantime.

Harry.
