contents of drop down list of addresses

on the address bar these is a drop down list of addresses visited over some
time. I cannot make out the logic by which an address is added or not addded
to this list

They are not necesserily nost frequently visited, they are not last visited.
There is even those misprinted addresses which return error 404.
Can someone comment on this?

if you want the address to appear in the drop down address box, then you must type the url in the box just above the list of addresses in the drop down box. then hit enter or the netscape icon or go if you are using internet explorer.

usually the last url that you entered in the address box will be at the top of the addresses in the drop down box.

i believe you can clear out all those addresses in the drop down box by clearing the cache.
be carefull once you clear them they are gone for ever. you will have to type them all back in.
