Post subject: You computer might be at risk
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>win2000>security (more info?)

After installation of WIN XP with SP3, at start-up, I notice that the
Security Centre icon on the system tray
displays a warning: You computer might be at risk. The firewall is not
turned on. for a while. I opened the Security Centre and checked if the
firewall is not turned on. It does turn on. Can someone advise me why it
happens and how to resolve it.
WIN XP SP3 fresh copy (MICROSOFT , non DSP )
