We have windows 2003 SP1. Recently we are getting the below error message
in the application log:

Event ID: 1000
Source: Windows Product Activation

An error occured while the wizard was checking the current windows product
license. Error Code: 8 0x8007000e.

I am definitely sure we have activated windows license. Does anyone know
what else would cause this error message

I don't have an answer for you unfortunately but this is a Windows 2000
group. If no one here knows you *might* get a better response in
microsoft.public.server.general perhaps.
