i'm trying to find a copy of windows 95 for my laptop because things don't
run very well with vista.

Nope, you don't want win95
it requires a patch if you are going to run it on faster than a 300mhz
cpu...
and even then it may still not work

Get 98SE. Best MS OS ever. It gets posted fairly regularly to
alt.binaries.warez.ibm-pc.old
Or eBay or a garage sale, although I really don't think MS cares
anymore.
