Post subject: Unable to download Windows 2000 ,3-pack update.ERROR CODE 0x802400 Add to elertz Archived from groups: microsoft>public>win2000>group_policy (more info?)
Can someone please help me with this problem.I have'nt seen a remady for
this problem yet.My XP 2000 home edition will not except the ,
KB936181---3-pack update , 2 of 3 will down load but the last part will not
download.The ERROR CODE is , 0x8024002D. Any and all help will be
appreciated.

Hello playa-cal,
If you use 2000 or XP,try this one. Stop Automatic update service, delete
or rename the C:\winnt\softwaredistribution folder, start the Automatic update
service and run the update again. The folder will be recreated.

i am having the same issue, and i cant locate the c:file you are talking about
please help!

Don't know whaat file are you talking about. Better create your own posting
with Operating system and SP to the group where it belongs to. Just to jump
in one post, is not a good idea. If you are also talk about the patch the
