Post subject: System Administrator not allowed to change start up selections
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>win2000>security (more info?)

There are only two users on my XP machine; "owner" and "guest". The "owner"
shows as system administrator. When I try to change the startup programs,
the changes are not allowed with a message that I need to sign on as the
system administrator to make the changes. How do I resolve this problem? I
reloaded the entire XP system and it didn't make any difference. Thank you.
