Post subject: SingleClick Discovery Protocol
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsnt>protocol>tcpip (more info?)

Recently I purchased a Dell laptop running XP Pro SP2. When looking at
the exceptions to the Windows firewall I ran across a couple of entries
I could not account for:

SingleClick Discovery Protocol - UDP port 10421
SingleClick ICC - UPD port 10426

>From what I can gather, this may have something to do with a wireless
configuration product Dell has started to use. I closed the
exceptions. Anyone have any thoughts on closing them or any reason I
should keep them opened?

Thanks,
