Post subject: Set up COMPAQ LCD Monitor TFT5000 Archived from groups: microsoft>public>win98>display>multi_monitor (more info?)
First time here, HI
How does one set up a TFT500 LCD monitor for vertical mode.
I download and have tryed to load different drivers form the free driver
site to no avail help please.
BTW I found this monitor thats why no drivers.

I would expect that to be a setting for your display adapter (if the display
adapter allows it) and not the monitor. However, looking at some limited
information on HP's (www.hp.com) site, it is not clear to me whether this
monitor in its stand alone version can be rotated so vertical (portrait)
mode make sense. But I did not look very far.

First off look at the subject this monitor is COMPAQ not HP and yes it
does rotate. Getting the display to come along is another matter.
