Post subject: Scheduled Disconnect Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsnt>terminalserver>connectivity (more info?)
Hi all. I'm new to this newsgroup, so if I'm posting in the wrong area
please let me know.
Is possible to use a script, or otherwise automate, the disconnection of
terminal server sessions on a pre-determined schedule. For example, I
have a backup that runs from 10PM - 12AM. Sometimes there are open
sessions/files, and I would like to be able to disconnect everyone just
prior to the backup.
I know the other option is to by an Advance Open File module for our
Veritas Backup software, but the cost is prohibitive $500. Please advise,
