image for a few seconds then revert back to their original size.

Hi Steve,

The setting which enabled the resizing is located here:

IE -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Multimedia -> Enable
Automatic Image Resizing

It might be worth disabling that, close IE, re-open it and then turn the
setting back on.

You might also want to consider what IE add-ons you have installed.

IE -> Tools -> Manage Add-ons

If there are any in there which sound related to Imaging then you might try
disabling them.

Hope that helps!

Hi Ant,

Thanks for the reply.

I've already tried:
IE -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Multimedia -> Enable
Automatic Image Resizing.
What that appears to do is shrink an image to fit my screen if the one I
open is larger than my monitor will display.

I also tried
IE -> Tools -> Manage Add-ons
But there is nothing in there that relates to images.

The images I'm having problems with are the ones that show a small image or
thumbnail and it says something like "click here for full size image" - the
image opens ok but closes after a second or two.

Steve

No, they open at first to their original size and are then shrunk to fit.

Hi,
Running a pop-up blocker such as the Google, Yahoo or Earthlink toolbar?

Running Ad-aware Pro? The "Block pop-ups" feature of Ad-watch sometimes
allows a window to open momentarily before closing it.

Hope this helps,
Don
