Post subject: Network a computer using Windows 98 operating system
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>win98>networking (more info?)

I'm trying to network a computer that has Windows 98 operationg system to a
Windows 2003 network. Can someone help me. I tried going into client
network for microsoft and name the computer and the workgroup put it didn't
work. My network is a LAN

Several potential issues,,, start with having everything installed and
configured:

The DSClient was necessary for Server 2003 <> Win9X access..
