We have a web portal for documents which prompts for a username and password
when accessing the documents.
We have recently upgraded from Win2k SP4 to WinXP SP2, both with IE6, and
since the upgrade the users are getting prompted for a password a second time.
If you hit OK, Cancel or press Esc, the document will open.
I have tested the site using Netscape and the second prompt does not come up
so it does not appear to be the server asking for a second time.
Is there a change in the way security credentials are handled in IE from
Win2k to WinXP?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Please ignore this one. I've posted it in the wrong location.
I have re posted in the IE6 group.
