Using Windows ME, I get an error message: "Windows Media Player encountered
an error when reading the CD-ROM drive in digital mode. Click OK to switch
to analog mode. Click Cancel to retry playing in digital mode." If I try
and reset to digital mode, I get the same error message. What is causing
this, and how can I get it to stay in digital mode? thanks, Kevin

You probably can't. This message means that your drive cannot reliably
extract the digital playback data. Put it in analog mode and leave it
there, or replace the drive.
