Hello everyone..

Does anyone know of a good malware detector?

For some reason, the top of my window keeps flashing, and I hear a type of
"clicking" noise..
so I am wondering if I have any type of malware since Ive already ran my
anti-virus and super anti-spyware...with both not finding anything....Id
like to check, but am unsure of which malware
detection program is a good one for Windows ME.

Does anyone know of any good malware programs?

Thanks so much!

Tarcia

By window I assume you mean your browser window and this problem happens
when browsing. If so this isn't necessarily due to malware and could be
due to the way the site you are viewing is encoded. For example I
observed this behaviour on two different PCs yesterday when viewing the
Emirates airline web site. In that particular case the problem was due my
internet security settings which were blocking the creation of a cookie by
the site. I allowed the cookie and was able to progress without further
problem - in this case I needed the cookie anyway as I was checking flight
details and the site used the cookie to temporarily store those details.

Yes, that was his answer. Good one, Harry. Just hope she understands
it.

No matter what, but 'summa cum laude', you'll always feel better, thank you.
Given her 'disposition' she shouldn't have any trouble 'understanding'.
OTOH we may have difficulty understanding her, or not?
Hoping for the best,

Harry.

I understand it just fine.
Unfortunately, it doesnt help, although it does give me an idea of why that
may happen sometimes,
but it also happens when I dont have any windows open. Sometimes I just have
my Outlook Express open
and Im only checking email. Since Ive already scanned for spyware and
viruses, wasnt sure what else to try next.
