Post subject: Install a new Domain controler and remove the old one
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsnt>domain (more info?)

Hello,

I have a Windows 2003 Server (Domain Controler Server 2003 with DNS).
I would like to install a new Server 2008 (and remove the Old one).
How can I do that?
I have installed a new Server 2008 and put it as the new master computer of
the domain, but when I try to add a new computer in the domain, I have
problems with the DNS Server.
How can I transfer the DNS Server to the new Server?
Is there any tutorial" or a place where I can see information on how to
create a news server and take all the parameters of the old one (and remove
the old one). I can see no information anywhere about it.

Thank you
Marc
