Post subject: Help!! Me Please

My friend as me to come and change her display on her computer and I did and now SYNC OUT OF RANGE just pops all over the screen and I can't get back to the old settings. It has been years since I have used Windows 98, so I can't even remember how to get to safe zone can anyone help.

HI!
I JUST DID A SEARCH ON LINE FOR SYNC OUT OR RANGE.

APPARENTLY THE RESOLUTION IS TOO HIGH FOR THE MONITOR.

REBOOT THE COMPUTER HITTING F8 REPEATEDLY AND SELECT SAFE MODE
ONCE IN SAFE MODE YOU CAN RIGHT CLICK ON THE DESKTOP
PROPERTIES AND
CHANGE THE SETTINGS
ADVANCE
ADAPTOR
CHANGE THE RESOLUTION THERE
