Sorry, Corday, just couldn't help it. I have never heard of any software,
like Acronis, offering free hardware with free software!! I have seen a few
offers of something 'with a purchase', but, never free with free. And, just
out of curiosity, what is '2tet' ?.....I haven't a clue......terabyte,
maybe? If so, it seems if you could afford a 2 terabyte HD, you ought to be
able to swing a $50 external drive.

Well ackshully Corday, I was poking at Heirloom, and used you as a
*springboard*. But I do have to agree with him that if you can afford
both what you are using and what you are thinking of buying, then $50 is
peanuts. I can spend that in no time on stuff for my hobby.

In fact, the bracelet I am in the middle of making would cost you more
than that. But you don't strike me as the *pearls and Swarovski
crystals* type....LOL.

If you are going to hang around this rather remote news group, you will
have to lighten up cuz we zing each other quite often. And have known
each other for about 7 years, I guess.

I'm just a little curious as I can't see where you've explained why the
free copy of Acronis TrueImage v8 mentioned in this thread doesn't meet
your needs. I do realise that Acronis is now at v11 but in many cases
newer versions often add little other than glitz and perhaps speed.

Note although I do in fact have access to a legal copy of Acxronis v11 I
am not an Acronis user, using instead BootIt NG (BING) as my
boot/partition manager and for imagining.
