I inadvertantly moved my Favorites folder (The Star Icon) instead of
copying it, when I went to put it back where it belonged I found that my
favorites no longer work in IE, I cant save anything to favorites nor edit
them, my favorites are back where they belong I beleive and a copy is on the
desktop, all my favorites are within the favorites folder but still wont
work from IE, Any Ideas?, Thanks everyone.

Hi Ben,

Open the parent folder (or drive) where you've moved the "Favorites" folder.
Select "Favorites" folder and press CTRL-X in the keyboard (equivanent to
"Cut"). Now, open %Userprofile% folder from Start/Run. Press CTRL+V to
paste the Favorites to the default location. The User Shell Folders path is
automatically updated in the registry and IE uses it.

I got it Ramish, I ended up deleting all occurance of favorites that were in
a folder, saving my favorits in a folder named "New Folder" (Orignal huh?)
re-booting and when the r-boot was complete I had a new albiet empty
favorits folder, I then copied my favorits from the saved folder into the
new Favorits folder and all is warm and fuzzy again, thank you and everyone
that had a suggestion for your help.

Ben
