I have tried everything to disable the autocomplete in IE6. I have
gone throught the tools and the autocomplete is NOT checked. I've
cleared my history and cleared my cookies.

But everytime I go to Google, the search box drops down and gives
"suggestions". When I go to Google, they say it's IE6. What's going
on? I haven't had this problem before. I wonder if a recent update
screwed something up.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
You've turned off Forms AutoComplete from Internet Options> Content>
AutoComplete?

After turning off AutoComplete, did you click the "Clear Forms" button?

I did. But I was reluctant to delete cookies. But I did and now it's
working the way I want. Not sure what turned it on in the first
place.

Thanks, Don.
