I have a primary partition with W98SE at Fat16. A second partition
compressed with DriveSpace.
I've tried to convert my primary bootable partition to Fat32. (I want to
conserve second part. compressed). When I start converter, dialogs boxes
guide me to boot my Pc to start the conversion. Then in DOS, a blue screen
appear a few seconds and continue a normal start to Windows. A message tell
me that conversion is not done, but not the reason. Nothing change.
What is wrong ? Can anybody help me. Thanks a lot. Carlo.

Have you used Scandisk in thorough mode to confirm that the file system and
disk are error-free?

At prompt I execute CVT c: CVT32 and give to me the following error:
To use the converter you must be running Windows version 4.10 Operation
Cancelled.
Ver running is: Windows 98 [version 4.10.2222]
The disk have been formatted with the same system or not. How can i
continue. Thanks for help, Carlo

That converter has never worked really well so I suggest you download this:
BootIt Next Generation is available from:
http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/bootitng.html and it does partitioning,
makes a compressed image, does many other partitioning chores and is a boot
manager. It is not quite as easy to use as Partition Magic but it is half
the cost and has more features. Unlike the crippled PMagic demo, BING is a
*full function* demo you can try for FREE for 30 days. The web site has a
lot of support articles.
