Post subject: 2003 Server R2 Enterprise Trial loses video during boot w/ ATI 960
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>win2000>advanced_server (more info?)

I'd post this in the 2003 Server group, except there isn't one. Smile

I just installed the trial version of 2003 Enterprise Server SP2 and after
the installation, the system reboots, the splash screen displays, then the
video signal disappears. I'm using the ATI AIW 9600 video card. When
booting into safe mode, the Devices list shows the 9600 series drivers
loaded. Why is the screen going blank if the default Windows drivers are
loading? I have checked several forums and there are many people using the
same card with this OS. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.
