The update kb 931768 for ie7 stoped my ie from working. A popup would come up
and say something about downloading navcand from ieframe.dll and then
recomend cancling it. I had to uninstall the update.

This appears to be a widespread issue. I've read about it numerous times
already today. I've already sent out email to my clients warning of the
problem.

Dang Windows Updates! They seem to break more than they fix! Sad

You can uninstall the update and wait for it to be fixed. At least IE
will work.

Sorry I haven't updated my IE7 machines yet. Do you want me too?

Ah... wait until next month. Sad

Too bad there isn't an option to only install updates after they are at
least 2 months old, eh?

There is. Turn off AU, wait to hear all the issues and then update manually.
