Post subject: support for ILM in BaseCSP/Minidriver
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>security_admin (more info?)

Hi All,

We are trying to integrate our smart card with the ILM/CLM via the BaseCSP.
We already developed the Minidriver according the minidriver specification
version 5.0. When we are trying to execute the certificate request, the
following error occurs

"This smart card does not support the requested feature."

Minidriver logs show that there is a read file request for dirname "msclm"
and filefile "pinh". Minidriver specification does not talk about these
files. So I have following queries

Is there any extra support required in minidriver for CLM? if yes,

What all support is required?
Are there special files needs to be created on Card for CLM before
certificate request? If yes,

What are the files required on to the card and what these files contains?
Who will create the files on the card?
When these file is to be created on card?
AS I am using the BaseCSP and minidriver to interact with the card, do I
need to create or modify various XML files?

Thanks in advance.
